1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of The Secret Level website and services (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Krenstin Resources (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

The Secret Level is an online platform for reading branching, interactive web novels and simulations. Users may browse a catalog, read free episodes, save progress, post community comments, and subscribe to paid plans that unlock additional episodes, themes, or premium features.

3. Eligibility & Authority

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or make a purchase. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

4. Accounts & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

6. Intellectual Property

All content, software, design, text, graphics, logos, and branding on the Service are owned by Krenstin Resources or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial reading purposes in accordance with your selected plan.

By posting comments or other content to community features, you grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

7. Payments, Subscriptions & Payouts

Paid plans, billing, tax, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds for The Secret Level are processed by our online reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle.com. For full details on payment terms, billing frequency, taxes, cancellations, and refunds, please refer to Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Merchant of Record disclosure: Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

8. Service Level

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features without prior notice.

9. Warranties & Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krenstin Resources’ aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Paddle for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law (such as fraud, death, or personal injury).

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krenstin Resources, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately; any data may be retained or deleted in accordance with our Privacy Notice.

13. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
