Apps like Webnovel without paywall surprises

What to check before starting a story

Look beyond a free first chapter. Check the full episode count, where paid access begins, whether coins expire, whether a subscription renews automatically, and how to cancel.

• The chapter access model is explained before purchase
• Pricing and renewal terms are easy to find
• Cancellation and account deletion are available
• A synopsis and episode count appear before reading
• Text size and reading modes can be adjusted
• Progress is saved to your own account

How access works on The Secret Level

The Secret Level is not entirely paywall-free. It uses a transparent mix of coins and membership: opening episodes can be coin-accessible, while episode 3 onward in current premium stories requires paid membership.

That means it may suit readers who value clear rules and interactive stories, but not someone seeking an unlimited free library. Review the pricing page before creating a paid subscription.

What you can read here
